Running the West Highland Way
Dorset-local Will Robinson is in Scotland having completed the 154km West Highland Way. Aiming to run the route in 3 days, he used Firepot's compostable pouches to ensure he did the challenge without any single-use plastic in his pack.

Deal to Brighton for refugees
Geoff Minter is walking from Deal to Brighton, helping to raise vital funds for the Kent Refugee Action Network, an organisation that supports young refugees. His route covers 112 miles: a total of five days hiking and wild camping.
Tors for Change
School-leaver, Kai James has just finished a 270 mile solo hike through Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks to raise funds for survivors of sexual assault. He climbed 130 tors in two weeks.
Atlas Mountain Race 2022
Katie-Jane L'Herpiniere sets off this weekend to compete in the gruelling Atlas Mountain Race. Cycling 1,200km through Morocco's rocky landscape, competitors can expect to climb around 24,000m over challenging terrain. Keep up with Katie's progress here.
Conquering the Cape Wrath Trail
Every year, a handful of Firepot customers tackle the ~450km great Cape Wrath Trail. Over the course of September, writer and videographer, Andy Wasley, is making a second attempt at the route following an injury in 2019.
Ride the Spine
In September, ex-professional rugby player, Chris Knight, bikepacked 230 miles down the ‘spine’ of Wales with two friends. Starting on an ancient Roman road in the north, they cycled over Snowdon, Cadair Idris, and Pen-y-Fan, through Welsh slate mines, and National Parks down to Worms Head on the south coast. They clocked an impressive 20,000ft of ascent in six days.
'Where we're going, we don't need roads'
Supported by the Sidetracked Magazine Adventure Fund, climbers Jennifer Roberts, Julie Baum, Helen Knott and Rachael Gatehouse are mid-way through an expedition to Kyrgyzstan's Pamir Mountains, mapping terrain and completing a series of first ascents in the relatively unexplored Kaska Suu valley.
